χαίρειν.
ἔγραψα Μαξίμῳ ἐμ-
5βαλέσθαι τὴν κριθὴν
τὴν ἐν Ὀξυρυγχείτῃ,
καὶ τὸν ὄνον καὶ ὅλα
γ πλοῖα διεπεμψά-

(Recto);;Aurelius Athenodoros to his dearest Serenus, greeting. I wrote to Maximus to load the barley in the Oxyrhynchite nome, and I sent the donkey and all 3 boats. If then he is in Posonpous or in some other place, get hold of him at once so that, leaving everything, he may come and effect the lading.
