- 2014-01-27T10:40:01.372-05:00 [berkes.lajos]: Vote - AcceptText - I think there is no need for [ἄνθρωπος(?)], it is just an e.g.
suggestion from the commentary. The papyrus has throughout Οὐβηεὶδ and not Οὐβεὶδ
on the plate, I'll enter this later as a PN correction. Write: 1. [.?]
<:(Ἡρακλεο(πολίτου))|alt|(Ἡρακλέο(υς πόλεως)):> and add in commentary (Suggested by
James): The same text is repeated in 13 lines, but not always in complete form, due
to the damaged status of the papyrus. The text given is a reconstruction of the maximum
legible text possible.
- 2012-08-07T07:58:45.776-04:00 [PaulvdLaan]: This is a "re-edition" of P.Rain.Unterricht 50. Editors give only one general line
for the lines 1-14, without taking into account the irregular form of the papyrus,
as if they all were complete on both sides. Quod non!! I did my palaeographical best
to restore each line according to the vestiges on the plate (Sosins suggestion by
email d.d. 1 Aug.) Please check, I'm a modest amateur!!
