τῆι η τοῦ αὐτοῦ μηνὸς παραγενόμενος μετῶν(*) ἐπα-
5[κ]ολουθούντων εἰς τὴν προγ[ε]γραμμένην κώμην
ὥ̣στε μετρῆσαι τὴν ἐπεσταλμένην σιτομετρίαν
Π̣ο̣σιδωνίωι τῶι σιτο̣λ̣όγωι· ἐπι̣σκοπούμενοι δὲ τὸν

1  Year …, Phamenoth 18. Notification to Horos, archiphylakitês of Arsinoë near Sebennytos, and to the epistatai of Karanis.
4  On the 8th of the same month, I arrived with my attendants in the aforementioned village so as to perform the grain-measurement for Posidonius the sitologos as ordered. 7  Inspecting the corn which was in the sacks, we found that a plunder had occurred to a considerable amount of wheat.
