[προ]σάγγελμα Ὥρωι ἀρχιφυλακίτηι Ἀρσινόης τῆς κατὰ
[Σε]β̣εννύτον καὶ τοῖ[ς] ἐπιστάταις τῆς Καρανίδος.
τῆι η τοῦ αὐτοῦ μηνὸς παραγενόμενος μετῶν(*) ἐπα-
5[κ]ολουθούντων εἰς τὴν προγ[ε]γραμμένην κώμην
ὥ̣στε μετρῆσαι τὴν ἐπεσταλμένην σιτομετρίαν
Π̣ο̣σιδωνίωι τῶι σιτο̣λ̣όγωι· ἐπι̣σκοπούμενοι δὲ τὸν
ὑ̣π̣ά̣ρχοντα σῖτον ἐν τοῖς σάκκ[ο]ι̣ς, εὕρομεν λείαν(*)
[γε]γενημένην πυροῦ εἰς ἱκανόν τι πλῆθος·(*) ἔφην α̣ὐ̣τῶι̣
10ἀ̣π̣[αν]τήσει̣ν. γέγ[ρ]αφε(*) δὲ τὸ αὐτὸ καὶ Τιμοκράτει τῶι
ἐπιστάτηι.

1 Year …, Phamenoth 18. Notification to Horos, archiphylakitês of Arsinoë near Sebennytos,
and to the epistatai of Karanis.
4 On the 8th of the same month, I arrived with my attendants in the aforementioned village
so as to perform the grain-measurement for Posidonius the sitologos as ordered. 7 Inspecting the corn which was in the sacks, we found that a plunder had occurred to
