Summary This ostracon bears a Greek receipt issued by the royal granary and two subscriptions, one in Greek by the sitologos (on the left) and one in Demotic (on the right).

X son of Harpochrates has paid for (the tax of) 5/6 artaba (per aroura) for ... for the same year: one artaba of wheat and a half = 1 ½ (artabas) of wheat. Y sitologos [Demotic:] The receipt of the royal granary: 1 ½ (artabas) of wheat for the Southern Island, for year 6.
