can see it on the plate. But I am not without doubts. The descender of the φ is much
more angular than in Φαμενω<θ> (15). Also, unless I misread or misunderstand, the
descender is far off-center to the right of the φ's circular center. The putative
φ, then, looks a lot like -εu- in ζεῦγο̣ς in lin13. A nominative is desired and so
-γοὶ has the advantage of sense. But "masons of wedges" seems an awkward construction
to me. So, this seems plausible, and the agreement of the editor, HC, carries significant
weight. But best in my view to hear other editors' voices before proceeding.
