- 2020-05-03T02:01:53-04:00 [simoeis]: Submit - Reversed the order of the words on either side of the 'alt' tag in order
to make the reading better accord with the ed. pr. Either reading seems equally possible,
in my view.

- 2020-05-01T08:36:53-04:00 [j.lougovaya.ast]: Vote - Accept-Straight-to-Finalization - I reviewed the photo and find the proposed
change convincing.
- 2020-05-01T07:38:06-04:00 [simoeis]: Submit - Ο.Berenike 2.184-188 all attest the word ἀειμνήστου (gen.). The editors believed
that this word was a proper name, Ἀειμνήστου, and that it was misspelled in 187 and
188 as Ἀμιμνήστου. The latter reading is incorrect. The purported sequence αμι- is
actually αει-, as is clear on the infrared photos, which I can supply for the vetting
process. The cursive epsilon has two peaks, which give the appearance of mu. The same
epsilon is observed in ligature with iota in Ἐπαφροδείτ(ος) in 2.187.1 and alone in
πάρες in line 4 of the same text. Whether ἀειμνήστου is an adjective or a proper name
is unclear. I prefer the former for reasons given in a forthcoming article about the
merchant Marcus Laelius Cosmus, who is attested in inscriptions in Berenike; I give
the proper name as an alternative reading in the apparatus.
