N. Gonis (via PN) : [ὡς παρελθοῦσιν] prev. ed.
- 2014-01-24T08:41:20.932-05:00 [james.cowey]: Finalized - Ready.
- 2014-01-24T08:41:20.907-05:00 [james.cowey]: Vote - Accept-Straight-to-Finalization - Now fine.
- 2014-01-24T07:41:19.226-05:00 [james.cowey]: Added Gonis original submit remarks in the XML as they had not appeared in the Editorial
history.
- 2014-01-23T10:45:11.737-05:00 [james.cowey]: Finalized - Ready.
- 2014-01-23T10:45:11.678-05:00 [james.cowey]: Vote - AcceptText - I certainly prefer to be agnostic and leave the end of lin9 without
supplement. Providing the alternative way of understanding the reading πιθίκοις, which
is to be understood as πιθήκοις, is helpful for the user. Despite arguments against
this in the ed.pr. I think it is quite plausible that abrasive language is used in
the context of a letter from Athanasios to Senouthios.
- 2014-01-23T10:45:11.615-05:00 [joshuad.sosin]: Vote - AcceptText - Accept. Lin1,2,6 good, see discussion at Aegyptus 81 (2001) 71;
lin9 I agree, del. ὡς παρελθοῦσιν (not in ed pr, but apparently from Morelli, per
SB 26 n. on p.8)
- 2014-01-18T09:49:15.223-05:00 [ngonis]: Entered the alternative πιθήκοις|reg|πιθίκοις (vel. sim.) in ll. 1, 2, 6. The possibility
that the text refers to 'monkeys', a term of abuse, is mentioned in ed. pr. (Aegyptus
81 (2001) 71) but was dismissed, though the reason adduced is not strong; Athanasios
often uses abrasive language for his underlings. || The restoration at the end of
l. 9 is very dubious; παρελθοῦσιν is dat. plur. pple aor., and doesn't fit anywhere.
Instead of introducing an indicative (direct statement after ἔμαθον) I'd be agnostic
and leave the lacuna unrestored. || Corrected accents: ἐπινώτιν → ἐπινῶτιν (l. 8),
ἀποθανῶσιν → ἀποθάνωσιν (l. 9).
- 2014-01-08T10:05:44.009-05:00 [berkes.lajos]: Finalized - ready

2: => <:πιστι[κο]ῦ|reg|πιθ̣ι[κο]ῦ̣:> 4: => ἀ̣π̣[όλυσον 7: => 7.- έλθωσιν 8: => ἵν[α]

- 2014-01-08T10:05:43.983-05:00 [berkes.lajos]: Vote - Return-Straight-to-Sender - Dear Marie-Pierre, thank you very much for your
submission, but please enter the text of SB (there is much improvement) and not that
of the ed. pr. Thank you. Lajos
