Summary | Papyrus memorandum from Ptolemaios to Nechoutes(?) in the Arsinoites (modern name: Fayyum), Egypt, ordering him to assist three cavalry soldiers, Andromachos, Aristaios, and Paraibatos the sons of Andromachos, in the measurement of their land. These three men have been given 80 arouras of land each, and Petobastis informs them of the exploitation of their land near Eleusis and Tebetnou. Dated to Phaophi 29, year 2 (Dec. 4, 180 B.C. or Dec. 1, 169 B.C.) |
