P.Mich.inv. :4:224 | |
Inv. Id | P.Mich.inv. 3159 |
Support/Dimensions | 1 papyrus ; 34 x 30.2 cm |
Condition | Regularly cut at the left and right hand sides; almost regularly cut at the top. The papyrus is broken at the left hand side, fortunately at the margin. Its obvious that the papyrus was randomly folded and some vertical damages can be seen, but they didnt affect the text, which almost complete. Also there is a vertical cut between col.121 and col.122, presumably it has been made in purpose for some reason. There are some dots of ink at the top margin and the left edge, as well as on Verso. No restoration is needed. (MA) |
Lines | 1-37 |
Recto/Verso | Source of description: Recto, col. 121 (ll. 4678-4714) |
Hands | Written in a quick but clear cursive. In a few cases of this column the scribe separated a new entry from the preceding one by underlining the name of the taxpayer. The scribe wrote some words on the verso, presumably as a draft. |
