Πτολεμαῖος Μενίσκου Μεγχεῖ χαίρειν. ὁμολογῶ
μεμισθωκέναι(*) σοι τὰς ὑπαρχούσας ἐν τῶι
κλήρωι μου χόρτου ἀρούρας δέκα ⟦εἰς τὸ⟧
ἐσπ[αρμ]ένας εἰς τὸ ϛ (ἔτος) ἐκφορίου ἑκάσ-
5τη[ς] ἀρούρας πυροῦ πέντε , ὥστʼ εἶναι
πυροῦ ἀρτάβας πεντήκοντα , καὶ συν-
χωρῶ τῆι μισθώσει καὶ βεβαιώσωι(*) σ[οι]
καὶ οἷς ἐὰν μισθώσῃς.

Ptolemaios son of Meniskos to Menches, greeting. I acknowledge that I have leased to you 10 arouras of grass-land belonging to me in my holding, sown for the 6th year, at the rent of 5 artabas of wheat for each aroura, making a total of 50 artabas of wheat; and I agree to the lease, and will guarantee it to you and to whomever you lease the land.
