(Recto);;(In upper left-hand margin) Petesouchos, about 46 years old, (with a scar) on his right forearm; Kronion, about 50(?) years old, with a scar on his nose on the left side.;;(Col. I);I, Petesouchos, son of Herakles (also called) Besis, acknowledge that I have sold to Kronion, son of Orseus, from the present time forever, the two-story house that belongs to me and the court, in which there is a new two-story hall, and the portico and all the appurtenances, in Tebtynis; the neighbors of all of which are on the south the lots of Kronion the younger, son of Zoilos, and in part the lots of Sigeris, son of Sigeris, on the north the lots of Kronion the elder, son of Zoilos, and in part the lots of Kronion, son of Dionysios, on the west the house of Apion, son of Kronion, and along part of the portico the royal road, and also in part the court of the aforesaid Kronion the younger, son of Zoilos,on the east the royal road. And I have received from Kronion the price in full, from hand to hand, out of the house, and I guarantee in accordance with this agreement with every guarantee from both public and private debts and from every claim forever as aforesaid. Sarapion, son of Ptolemaios, wrote for him because he is illiterate.;;(Col. II);I, Petesouchos, son of Herakles (also called) Besis, a Persian of the epigone, have received as a loan from Kronion, son of Orseus, four hundred and forty-eight drachmai of minted silver, with interest at the rate of one drachme per mina per month, which money I will repay in the month of Mecheir of the third year of Nero Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus Imperator as aforesaid.
