- 2015-02-13T12:09:53.638-05:00 [james.cowey]: Finalized - Ready. I would also like to observe that on the very good image of the
papyrus from Berkeley the initial Tau of the name Ταφορ is not as clear as it might
be. I am unable to suggest a more convincing reading.
- 2015-02-13T12:09:53.632-05:00 [james.cowey]: Vote - AcceptText - There are other possibilities. Ταφορσόις is attested. When one
considers that there are also attestations for Τεφορσῶς and Τεφορᾶς which are variants
of the same name, it is clear that what is suggested is not exhaustive. I suggest
leaving the proposed alternative reading. This note should make clear that other solutions
are also quite imaginable. See also www.trismegistos/nam/detail.php?record=1433.
