Endeavor therefore not to trouble Asklepiades with the duties of ephodos. Good-bye. The 36th year, Payni .. Pankrates to Aristippos, greeting. We have appended for your information a copy of the letter written by us to �, the Basilikos Grammateus. The 36th year, Phamenoth .. To N.N. Appended is a copy of the letter written to us by Sosos and Aigyptios, � appointed by the polity of the Cretans, relating to the affairs of Asklepiades, in order that you may know of his removal to the fifth hipparchy and that the instructions may be carried out. Sosos and Aigyptos to Pankrates, greeting. Since orders have been given through us that the catoecic cavalry should be �, Apollodoros, one of the first friends and Epistates and scribe of the catoecic cavalry, has sent me from the 500 men who have been granted the polity of the Cretans, Asklepiades son of Ptolemaios, a Macedonian of the divisional epheboi, on condition that he has a holding of 24 arouras in the neighborhood of Kerkeosiris in the division of Polemon. Kindly therefore register the fact and receive him into the fifth hipparchy of the 100-aroura-men, and communicate with Apollodoros. We have, further, appended the description of Asklepiades and the name of his son. He is about 22 years of age, short, fair, curly-haired �, his son is Ptolemaios, aged 5 months.
